Local Attractions:

Nelson Bay is famous for its 160 bottle-nose Dolphins. Cruise boats depart every day of the year for dolphin watching in the bay and May-November for Whale Watching cruises in the open seas. Wonderful beaches within 10km radius, almost every type of water based activity (swimming, scub-diving, snorkelling, fishing, sailing). A variety of sporting clubs (golf, bowls), 4 wheel-drive Adventure tours, Horse-riding, movie theatre, ten-pin bowlsing, golf driving range and MORE!!! We are very close to the best Restaurants, Marina, or just relax with us. Visit the Lighthouse or 2 other Historic Homes in the region and have lunch or Devonshire Tea. Ferry to Tea Gardens for lunch.

Getting There:

By bus from Sydney. The bus leaves Central Railway at approx 2.00pm arriving in Nelson Bay at 5.30 pm. Return trip is 9.00 am from nelson Bay to Sydney. The cost will be approximately $80.00 return.
By Train and Bus from Sydney. Take the Newcastle train from Central Railway, at Newcastle Station, there is a bus to Nelson Bay (Port Stephens Buses) approx every hour. (The method gives greater flexability then the direct bus from Sydney)
Note - Please advise if you wish to be picked up from bus stop at Nelson Bay. (generally someone is available to pick up guests)

2.5hrs Drive North of Sydney via the F3 Freeway, over Hexham Bridge, follow signs to Nelson Bay. When entering the 50km zone on Nelson Bay Road, it becomes Stockton Street and the property is 200m on the right hand side (up on the hill) signposted B&B, on the service (upper) road.
If you miss the street, go down to roundabout (200m)and come back up, easier to find.
