Port Stephens offers many choices of water activities - waterskiing, sailing, cruising, snorkelling, surfing, patrolled beaches, diving, boat hire, kayaking, fishing, fishing charters, golf, lawn bowls, dolphin & whale watching, arts/crafts, sand dunes safaris on quad bikes, ferry trips to Tea Gardens (a fantastic experience), cafes, restaurants, hotels, camel riding, Hunter Valley vineyard tours.
Also, a visit to Port Stephens is not complete without experiencing the incredible 40 km stretch of sand dunes and Stockton Beach. Enjoy accessing this by 4wd, horse, camel or even a quad bike. There are also 4 golf courses for the enthusiast, bushwalks & cycleways.
Getting There:
Newcastle airport 20 minutes. Port Stephens coaches daily from Sydney. Newcastle train station 50 minutes.
