Port Stephens is located an easy 2.5 hours drive north of Sydney along the F3 highway.
Travel to the end of the F3, turn right at the roundabout, follow the sign Hexham & Pacific Hwy (BP and Hungry Jacks will now be on your next left).
The road will veer to the right & merge with the New England Hwy, after which you should merge to the left lane taking the sign Taree & Pacific Hwy, which will direct you over the Hexham Bridge.
Look for the sign Next Exit Richardson Rd - Raymond Terrace/Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay, Fingal Bay, One Mile Beach or Anna Bay.
You continue along Richardson Road, following the Nelson Bay sign, until you reach a roundabout. Then follow the signs to the destination of your choice!
For tourists heading for Karuah, continue along the Pacific Highway following the signs that lead to the Karuah turn-off.
